Role: Brand Manager
Job Responsibilities:
- Partner on business AOP and brand strategy for complete food portfolio in the area countries of Bangladesh, Nepal, and Sri Lanka.
- Manage Brand and budget based on business needs and the role of the brand.
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams like Trade Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, finance, etc to ensure execution of all category deliverables including specific campaigns and projects.
- Impact on Key Stakeholders: Drive clear communication and execution with internal stakeholders (RandD, Legal, Sales, and Supply Chain), creative and media agency partners, and other external stakeholders (activation vendors). Identifying market-specific threats/opportunities, specific consumer habits in the area countries, and executing plans like price/pack, product innovations, marketing communications, etc.
- Develop and execute a standard process for brand performance reviews (Weekly and Monthly).
- Support innovation development and project management by identifying consumer needs/trends with insights, writing product concepts and briefs, working with RandD to qualify products, and working with finance to deliver target financials.
- Assist in managing equity programs including ATL advertising, BTL activations, PR activities, media planning, and management of digital programs in the target countries.
- Develop and execute activation programs including designing/producing POSM, consumer promotions, E-commerce activities, sampling programs, etc.
- Learn and implement consumer and market insights captured via trade marketing, customer connections, travel, and field visits in the respective area countries.
Requirements:
- MBA-Marketing from a premier institute
- 6-8 years of FMCG experience panning across sales/trade marketing followed by Brand Marketing experience.
- Brand marketing expertise and equity exposure, preferably in the CPG industry.
- Experience/ knowledge of working on multi-country projects preferred.
- Strong communication skills and well-versed in English and Bangla languages.
- Strong experience working on Core brands and building innovation pipelines to stretch ™.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a complex, matrix environment independently.
- High level of analytical rigour/skills, understanding of consumer needs/trends, and problem-solving approach.
- Strong collaboration skills to partner with functional teams, agency partners, and Business teams.
