Role: Sr. Executive ( Distribution and Logistics)
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide support and implement strategic logistics plans to ensure timely and efficient distribution of glass products.
- Oversee the daily operations of the logistics department, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
- Coordinate with production and sales teams to align logistics activities with business objectives.
- Manage relationships with logistics providers and negotiate contracts to secure cost-effective services.
- Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Assists in process improvements to reduce lead-time execute shipments and eliminate non-value add activities.
- Supports efforts to resolve issues that may block the timely flow of glass products.
- Responsible for compliance with regulations, such as Good Distribution Practices.
- Support a team of logistics professionals, including drivers, loaders, forklift operations, and supply chain employees - fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Supply Chain Management.
- Master of Commerce (MCom) in Supply Chain Management.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years.
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
- Group of Companies, Sanitary ware, Tiles/Ceramic, Inventory/Warehouse, Supply Chain, Steel.
Additional Requirements:
- Age at least 28 years.
