Role: General Manager

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that the Finance and Accounts activities are in order with the organization's policy and Manual.
  • Follow up and monitor daily sales and collections and ensure completing all relevant accounting entries.
  • Always keep the Member ledger corrected and communicate accordingly.
  • Follow up and monitor Petty cash operation and ensure proper maintenance of petty cash.
  • Follow-up banking transactions and ensure the preparation of monthly bank reconciliation statements properly and complete the necessary entries.
  • Control and monitor all cash and Bank payments.
  • Monitor and follow up on the entire Inventory Management.
  • Develop SOP and Policies from time to time for better financial operation.
  • Ensure that all applicable Tax and VAT and other regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure submitting all returns of VAT and Tax promptly.
  • Prepare all necessary periodic and year-end reports for Senior Management and statutory purposes.
  • Keep up to date on all accounting entries into the software.
  • Ensure timely payment to suppliers, preparation, and allocation of vouchers.
  • Communication with External Software service providers.
  • Preparation of half-yearly and yearly accounts.
  • Prepare and submit documents for the annual accounts of EC.
  • Preparation of quarterly, half-yearly, and yearly budgets.
  • Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Follow-up monthly payable and receivable including all party accounts.
  • Payroll management and bank correspondence.
  • Suggest on best Investment opportunities.
  • Assess current practices and procedures and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Performing VAT andTAX-related works and corresponding with DCT (VAT andTAX) issues.
  • Corresponding with external auditors to ensure correct and timely closing and reporting at year-end.

Requirements:

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting. 
  • Preferred CA (Certificate/Professional level) /CMA /ACCA. 
  • Preferred Professional Certification: CA., CMA, ACCA. 
  • Skills Required: Good communication skills, managing profitability and costing rela, Strategic Planning. 
  • Experience Requirements: 8 to 12 years (s). 
  • The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Accounts, Computer skills, Microsoft Office Applications.
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Club

Additional Requirements:

  • Age 35 to 45 years.

  • Hospitality Industry (Club, Hotel) background will be given additional preference.

Job Location: Dhaka (Gulshan)

Salary: Tk. 80000 - 120000 (Monthly)
