Role: Senior Finance Manager
Job Responsibilities:
Overall Responsibilities:
- The Senior Finance Manager - Donor Compliance and Reporting will be primarily responsible for performing as the focal person of portfolio function of the iDE Dhaka office under the technical direction of the Associate Director
Finance and Operations. This will include:
- Ensure donor compliance in managing various projects of iDE.
- Develop a robust budgeting system for development partners.
- Capacity building to related staff.
Financial Reporting, Budgeting, and Management:
- Strengthen and further develop iDE's financial reporting structures to a global standard and prepare us for growth.
- Create robust and flexible budgeting systems that support offices and projects.
Information Systems:
- Define the schedule of financial and operational reporting on projects, departments, and at the global level.
- Run management information systems that consolidate financial data globally.
- Maintain robust systems for financial oversight, management, record-keeping documentation, and reporting.
- Monitor financial expenditure against the budget within the donor-funded program.
- Liaison the annual financial planning and budget process.
- Review and provide feedback on Sub-Recipient financial reports where applicable and coordinate and consolidate Sub-Recipient reports and overall reporting on a timely basis.
- Ensure all regular and ad-hoc financial reporting.
- Manage all audit process requirements for Donor-funded projects.
Corporate Governance and Risk Management:
- Manage all audit process requirements for Donor-funded projects.
- Be responsible for ensuring iDE meets all financial, compliance, and legal obligations relating to staff, supporters, sponsors, partners, and clients in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure compliance with all requirements for regulators and funders.
- Ensure compliance with iDE reporting requirements, policies and procedures, statutory regulations, contractual obligations, accounting standards, and funding requirements.
- Ensure the internal control framework is supported by relevant financial and risk management policies.
Mentor Executive and Finance teams:
- Mentor and train the Finance Portfolio Team and support their professional growth and development.
- Provide capacity building and training on financial management and compliance with donor reporting and financial management.
Technical support to the program and support field offices:
- Conduct analysis, review workflows to identify opportunities for consolidation and improvement of the current system, processes, and workflows involved with all field offices, and make recommendations and present to the SMT.

Mandates and code of conduct:
- Being part of the finance team, it is the duty and accountability of the Sr. Finance Manager to ensure the confidentiality of certain issues. The Senior Finance Manager – Donor Compliance and Reporting must maintain full confidentiality for sharing information, documents, and other issues with others.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Accounting with Chartered Accountancy Course completed and partly qualified.
- At least ten years of experience working with INGOs, foundations, or other non-profit grant-making entities, including a minimum of eight years of managerial experience.
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of project cycle management and financial budgeting and reporting.
- Experience working with Consortium funding models and small grants programs is an asset.

Job Location: Dhaka.
Salary: Negotiable.
