Role: General Manager for Fish Feed and Fry Sales
Job Responsibilities:
- Analyse market demand and forecast daily/monthly/annual sales targets, develop and implement sales strategies to achieve the sales targets of the fish feed and fry sales and increase market share.
- Direct, supervise and monitor the sales team to ensure that fish feed and fry sales targets are achieved within the specified timeline.
- Enhance the selling price of fish fry by considering factors such as cost, competition, market demand, and prices from internal sales, competitors, and the overall market.
- Build strong relationships with customers and distributors by establishing clear communication channels to enhance the business.
- Collect information on market demand and communicate it to the production team to meet sales demand.
- Manage the budget for the sales team, ensure that all expenditures are within budget, and monitor the return on investment (ROI) of sales activities.
- Forecast business possibilities and develop a sales team to achieve the business target within the timeline.
- Develop a comprehensive training calendar and prepare training modules to train, educate and counsel the team on key aspects of overall operations; enforce a performance-driven culture within the department.
- Review all kinds of daily/weekly/monthly sales summary reports and provide them to management to demonstrate accountability within the specified deadline.
- Develop, review, and update credit policies.
- Prepare an analytical report on fish fry performance and FCR of feed.
Requirements:
- B Sc./ M Sc. in Fisheries/ Aquaculture from a reputed University will be preferred.
- Experience Requirements: 12 to 15 years (s).
Additional Requirements:
- Minimum 4- 5 years of managerial experience in fish feed and fry sales.
- 12-15 years of experience in sales, preferably in the fish fry industry.
- Good understanding of fisheries business and fish fry sales
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other sales-related software.
- Update knowledge of fish health and nutrition
