Overview of the Position

We are looking for Full-­Time Interns who will collaborate with us on various exciting projects based on Python/JavaScript. The Internship Program will last for six months, following which outstanding candidates may be offered a full-time position as a Software Engineer.

Note: This is a full-time position so we will not be considering part-time applicants. All individuals selected for this role will be required to work remotely during the COVID-19 period. 

What You’ll Do

You will work on a project under the direct guidance of a dedicated supervisor and support from several technical mentors. By the end of the program, we expect our Interns to have the following skills/knowledge:

Git, JS, NodeJS, Database, Design Pattern and Design Principles, React, Microservice Design Pattern, Python, Flask, Database, AWS, Agile Methodology and most importantly, how we work.

Expected Deliverables

A workable solution to the project

• A document on the entire work, e.g., internship paper
• Presentation on the project

What You’ll Need

• Bsc. in Computer Science (preferred but not mandatory)
• Programming knowledge, understanding of database, knowledge of algorithm as well as data structure
• Good analytical skill
• Eagerness to learn
• Proficiency in English
• Ability to work in a team and independently
•

• Engineering fundamentals and principles. 
• Data Structure and Algorithms

Knowledge is primarily ‘theoretical’ and relates to someone’s understanding of certain concepts, theories, or subject matter. 

Skills:

• Designed system(s) end to end
• Write clean code
• Used design patterns and principle
• Tests code/TDD
• Algorithmic problem-solving
• Good communication 

Abilities: 

• Problem-solving aptitude
• Analytics thought process

Abilities and skills are often used interchangeably, but there are subtle differences. Ability is the capacity to perform, whereas skill refers to actually performing the task.
