Role: Asst. Manager and Deputy Manager

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist the Head of the Department of Supply Chain in developing and executing supply chain strategies aligned with company goals and objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and implement supply chain plans, including demand forecasting, procurement, production scheduling, inventory management, and distribution.
• Support the procurement process by identifying potential suppliers, conducting supplier evaluations, and negotiating contracts.
• Assist in managing supplier relationships, monitoring performance, and addressing any supply-related issues or concerns.
• Assist in developing and implementing inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels, minimize excess or obsolete inventory, and ensure uninterrupted supply.
• Collaborate with HOD to monitor inventory levels, analyze demand patterns, and implement strategies to mitigate stock-outs and excess inventory.
• Support the production planning process by collaborating with production teams to ensure efficient scheduling and utilization of resources.
• Assist in implementing lean manufacturing principles and process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with the logistics team to coordinate transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of quality assurance processes and compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., GMP, GDP).
• Assist in monitoring and tracking key performance indicators, conducting audits, and identifying areas for improvement in supply chain operations.
• Any other comparable Job assigned by the management.

Requirements:

• B.Pharm/M.Pharm from any reputed Institution. MBA in Supply Chain is preferred.
• Experience Requirements: 8 to 12 years (s).

Additional Requirements:

• Age at most 40 years.
• Proven experience (8+ years) in supply chain management, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
• Solid understanding of supply chain processes, including procurement, inventory management, production planning, and distribution.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality standards in the pharmaceutical industry (GMP, GDP).
• Proficiency in using supply chain management software and SAP.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, suppliers, and logistics partners.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality in work.
