Role: Research Intern

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Under the direction of the Common Services Officer, the Administrative Assistant (LE-A1) and Common Services Assistant (LE-A2) provide daily administrative support and services, provide, and create information and/or documentation, provide support for ongoing program activities, respond to service requests from clients, and performs other duties as required.

Requirements:  

  • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
  • Fluency in English and Bengali (writing, speaking, reading).
  • Experience:

LE-A1

Minimum of 2 years recent* and consecutive experience in an office environment in the areas mentioned below.

Experience in a client service position catering to internal and external clients, or with the public.

LE-A2

Minimum of 3 years recent** and consecutive experience in an office environment in the areas mentioned below.

Experience with general administrative duties and standard office procedures.

*” Recent” experience is defined as within the last 4 years

  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, and Word).
  • Knowledge of office routines, procedures, and functions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively (oral and written).
  • Ability to follow instructions and apply rules.
  • Ability to analyze and evaluate information, focusing on quality and details.

Additional Requirements:

Common Service Assistant, LE-A2

  • Ability to plan, control, and organize day-to-day tasks and deliverables within tight timelines.
  • Preference may be given to candidates who meet the Asset Qualifications. Where applicable, candidates must demonstrate how they meet any asset qualifications.
  • Fluency in French (writing, speaking, reading).
  • Work experience in a diplomatic mission and/or international organization.
  • Experience in documentation and processing of invoices and financial claims.
  • Work experience in corporate finance and/or accounting
  • Work experience in procurement and/or contracting.

 

Job Location: Dhaka, Bangladesh. 

Salary: LE-A1: BDT 872,998, LE-A2: BDT 1,137,329.

Benefits: As per the organization policy.
