Ramadan, the holy month for Muslims worldwide, is knocking at the door, which is tremendously significant for its nobility to expurgate the lifestyle of this religious people.
This is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, and Muslims observe it with great keenness to obey Islamic norms and satisfy the Almighty Allah.
The Muslims fast from dawn to evening, continue the day with prayers, and attend to the Islamic Shariah-based lifestyle with salutation, where finding closeness to God is their prime intention.
Ramadan is the month to purify the mind and edify the ways of life by prioritizing modesty and humbleness in every sphere of life. Attaining the contiguity of God remains the root of all of the work. Muslims spend the month entirely of devotion, a penchant for prayers and other religious motives, and refraining from all kinds of lousy actions is also emphasized.
This holy month is a golden period to develop etiquette in a person's life, as Ramadan always inspires the debut to practice kindness and modesty in life through following the rules of humbleness. An individual can enrich their life by being a practising Muslim and having that virtue from the sublimity of Ramadan, which definitely leads that person to live in a sound environment and spread positivity among others.
The month may be over after a few days. Still, its greatness and beauty may remain throughout the year, as Ramadan provides the message to be kind to people, extend a hand at their penury, and follow the right track in life overall.
Being persistent in provoking etiquette in life, both in personal and social life, that may be curated and flourished through the month of Ramadan can be a turning point in a person's life to have a sound or balanced life. Moreover, a mass practice can spread long-term positivity in society, undoubtedly making the residents more liveable and peaceful.
A devoted person who keeps fasting and practices religious aspects will not indulge in any evil persuasion. That can be one of the best examples of positivity, which may last until the last months of the year.
Etiquettes are crucial to follow a decent lifestyle, which can be developed in these months, ranging from respecting all kinds of people to avoiding the tendency to ail them, keeping in mind that the touches of mutual respect can bring happiness. In contrast, poking the people by interfering in any private issue, or embarrassing them, which may incur conflicts among the people, can be avoided this month.
Overspending during Ramadan is a common phenomenon among Bangladesh's elite class. This practice is evil, as it amplifies discrimination among different classes of people. It must be remembered that fasting should be done for the satisfaction of Allah, and definitely, overspending is not inspired by Islam. Also, frugality can be a practice of Ramadan that may be grown up this month.
Like overspending, overeating should also be avoided this month, as it leads to health complications, including obesity, diabetes, heart problems, etc. The norm of eating balanced foods in the required quantity can also be practised for the rest of the year.
Ramadan inspires us to live with our surroundings, keep updated regarding the neighbours, whether they can eat and lead their lifestyle smoothly or not, and develop the practice of hospitality in life. This is to be practised during Ramadan and throughout the year, which is the best month to grow that mentality and practice it all year.
A regrettable fact in Bangladesh is that almost every year, there is a price hike in the commodities at the market during Ramadan. Where most Muslim countries of the world cut the prices to bring ease for the consumers, the scenario is different in the maximum cases of Bangladesh.
This illegal practice should be terminated. Even the government must be prompt in this regard and activate administration well in the field. It should be noted that price hiking is a crime, and its consequences may include discrimination between rich and poor.

He further said, "The people who are mature enough to keep fasting but do not practice it during Ramadan may be personally groomed regarding the significance of this month and why they should keep fasting. Individual consultation to make people aware of the importance of fasting and practice it in life may be an effective tool rather than paying mental oppression. Moreover, how fasting is essential to health may be described to them to attract their attention to keep fasting."
Ramadan is observed with great interest in the Muslim community. It plays a significant religious role among Muslims. This month motivates people to comply with spiritual values that help them enrich their religious, personal, or social lives. Thus, the etiquette of fasting at Ramadan can be a milestone to assist people in following a polite and decent life throughout the year.
