Manoj Bajpayee's latest is a touching movie based on true story

Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai is a 2023 Indian Hindi-language courtroom drama film directed by Apoorv Singh Karki and produced by Zee Studios and Bhanushali Studios. 

The film stars Manoj Bajpayee as PC Solanki, a lawyer who takes on the case of a young woman who a self-styled godman has sexually assaulted.

The film is based on the real-life case of Asaram Bapu, who was convicted of raping two minor girls in 2018. Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai is a powerful and moving film that tells a story that is all too relevant in today's world.

Bajpayee gives a tour-de-force performance as PC Solanki. He is both believable and sympathetic as a lawyer who is fighting for justice for a victim who the system has ignored. 

The supporting cast is also excellent, with standout performances from Khushboo Samta as the young woman who has been assaulted and Kavita Kaushik as Solanki's wife.

Karki's direction is assured and confident. He does a great job of balancing the emotional and legal aspects of the story. The film is well-paced and never feels preachy or heavy-handed.

Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai is a must-see film for anyone interested in social justice or the legal system. It is a powerful and moving film that will stay with you long after you have seen it.
