TikTok recipes are so simple that they only require a few ingredients and cooking techniques, but they go on like an epidemic and encourage amateur to good cooks to experiment in the kitchen.

Cooking at home has been transformed by these recipes, which tend to be brief, creative, and easy to follow. Due to their accessibility, ease of use, and aesthetically pleasing preparation, TikTok viral recipes have become extremely popular very rapidly. Here are some trendy viral TikTok recipe

Dahi Tarka

To make this, you first need to whisk 1 cup of yoghurt. After that, heat some ghee in a pan; give Tarka ½ a teaspoon of cumin seed and 1 red chilli, then add 1 teaspoon of red chilli powder, 1 teaspoon of chopped garlic and 1 medium-sized chopped onion, a pinch of turmeric and salt to taste.

Cook this mixture until the onion becomes soft. Turn the heat off, let the mixture cool a bit and add the yoghurt. It is ready to serve with rice or roti.

Creamy cucumber salad

This cucumber salad is worth trying. In a bowl, take 1 cup of thinly sliced cucumber, add ½ cup of yoghurt, ½ teaspoon of black pepper, 1 tablespoon of sliced onion, 1 teaspoon of chopped green chilli and salt to taste. You can also add chilli flakes if you want them to be spicy. Could you give it a nice mix and serve?

Four-layered paratha

Take the regular dough of paratha kneaded with all-purpose flour, water and oil. Roll out one dough ball into a small circle about six inches in diameter.

This is where the TikTok hack comes in. Make a single cut from the centre of the circle to the edge, dividing the dough visually into four quadrants without fully separating them.

On each quadrant, separately add mashed potato prepared with fried onion, fried and mashed red chilli and salt, 1 slice of cheese, chopped onion, coriander and green chilli and in the last quadrant, put garam masala, cumin powder, and red chilli powder.

Now, it is time to fold the dough. Take one quadrant and fold it over the next quadrant, creating a half-circle. Fold the half-circle over again to form a quarter-circle.

Fold one more time to make a triangle-like shape with multiple layers. Gently roll the folded triangle out again into a larger triangle. Heat some ghee in the tawa, and cook both sides until golden brown and crispy.

Vanilla ice cream French toast

This is one of the simple ways to make French toast. You will need only 3 ingredients to make it. Take 1 scoop of vanilla ice cream and let it melt at room temperature. Then, take a slice of bread and dip in the melted ice cream until it gets soaked. After that, dissolve 1 teaspoon of butter and place the soaked bread slices in the hot pan and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crispy.

Boiled egg chutney

This recipe will blow your mind and will change the whole experience of eating boiled eggs. Half cook the eggs. Take a boil and add thinly sliced cucumber, onion, green chilli, coriander, 1 tablespoon of tomato sauce, 1 tablespoon of Kashundi, a little bit of sugar and salt to taste. Then, cut the eggs into half through and fill the eggs with the mixture. Top with some tamarind chutney and dig in. 

Brazilian lemonade

You will need 3 limes and cut them into quarters. Then, put those into a blender and pour 3 cups of water. Blend them for 30 seconds.

Strain the liquid; if needed, strain twice to get rid of additional pulp. Then take the lime water back in the blender, put some ice cubes and half a can of sweetened condensed milk. Blend it again and then serve chilled.
