Bangladesh is blessed with six luscious seasons, each sundry for each, which always lustres humanity through its decks. Autumn is one of them, consisting of the Bengali months 'Bhadra' and 'Aswin,' which comes with utmost beauty and whiteness for the entire ambience. This orphean season not only confers the utter aphorism toward nature but also tranquillity of mind among humans.

Autumn annunciates its arrival in the middle of August and holds its supremacy for the next two months. Nature endues itself snugly through its vicious colours of enormity and gives the message of being reinvigorated for both human beings and plants. White clouds in the sky and different types of flowers make this season distinctive from other seasons of the country.

The touch of a whitening cloud in the blue sky is the first sight of autumn in nature. After the heavy rainfall during the rainy season, nature seems to dwell with serenity in autumn, as the tedium cloudburst takes a rest in the season.

Dodging of sunny sky and sudden rainfall is one of the unique aspects of autumn, which makes this season different for people. Blooming flowers of different cultivars emblem the purity of nature, either by their beauty or patulous smell, which has attracted beauty lovers for centuries.

Catkin (Kash Flower), Shiuli, Mallika, Kamini, etc., are some of the flowers that bloom in this season. Catkin is one of the main attractions of autumn, and it blossoms during this season. The white catkin dazzles nature, as well as acting as the peace of the eyes of the beholders.

These flowers are shown at the bank of the rivers, in open fields, beside the cultivating lands, etc. The lengthy flower bud of catkin catches the eyes of the habitats for its unique and tartish views.

Among the flowers of autumn, catkin occupies the top position for its universal acceptance and elegance. The visitors often rush to the spots of catkins and capture photographs, and spend some diametrical moments staying away from the daily tiring life. During the sunset, the catkin becomes reddish for the beam of the sun, which is another attraction to the viewers.

Autumn has also created its place in the field of art and culture. For centuries, the residents of this region have been fond of celebrating indigenous culture and nurturing it by heritage.

For the rich cultural diversity and natural abundance, this season has achieved a remarkable position among the people of Bangladesh.

Though winter is in the epicentre of 'pithafuli,' autumn is also famous for some traditional 'pitha.' Palms are one of the critical elements during autumn. Also, the people of this country celebrate this season with different traditional foods.

Autumn is also crucial in terms of religious views toward the Hindu community. 'Durga Puja,' the most significant Hindu festival in Bangladesh and West Bengal, India, has been celebrated with colours for many years. The festival is also titled 'Sharadiya' for its long-term celebration in autumn.

Autumn is also vigilant in poems, novels, prose, films, etc. The poets, novelists, writers, and film directors adored the season and placed their latent utterances through their works. Thus, either in personal life or literature, even in religious views, autumn has made its strong position everywhere.
