191 playgrounds to be built in Ctg

CHATTOGRAM: Chattogram District Admission has decided to build play ground at all 191 unions at 15 upzilas in Chattogram. Besides, the district administration has also decided to recover the playgrounds in the port city from illegal occupiers.

Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Chattogram Abul Bashar Mohammed Fakhrujjaman said, "We will build playgrounds at all unions of Chattogram. There are 191 unions at 15 upzilas in Chattogram. We will make 191 playgrounds this year in Chattogram. We have already sent letters to the Upazila Nirbahi Officers of all 15 upzilas in Chattogram in this regard. They have already started the process to make playgrounds in all unions in Chattogram this month." He also said, "We will recover the playgrounds and stadiums from the illegal occupiers. Meanwhile, we have already issued circular not to allow any fair on the playgrounds or stadiums in Chattogram. Playgrounds and stadiums will be used for playing."
