The 330 people who fled across the border from Myanmar to Bangladesh amid heavy fighting between junta forces and insurgents are set to return home on Thursday, reports bdnews24.com.
They will be handed over to Myanmar authorities at the Bangladesh Navy jetty at Cox’s Bazar’s Inani, according to the Border Guard Bangladesh, or BGB.
The 330 individuals, many of whom are members of the Myanmar Border Guard Police, or BGP, will be transferred under the supervision of the BGB.
