The preliminary examination of the 46th BCS is being be held today (Friday) across Bangladesh.
The 200-mark exam will start at 10:00 am and continue until 12:00 pm.
Around 338,000 candidates are sitting the exam to be held simultaneously in 215 centres in eight divisional cities of the country, according to the Bangladesh Public Service Commission.
The commission said the exam centres will remain open from 8:30 am to 9:30 am to allow candidates’ entry and no one will be allowed to enter the centres thereafter.
According to an announcement of the commission, answer sheets will be distributed at 9:30 am and question papers at 10:00 am, and no candidate will be allowed to leave the centres before 12:00 pm.
Books, watches, mobile phones, calculators, any other electronic devices, devices like bank cards, jewellery, bracelets and bags are prohibited in the examination centres.
