The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has filed separate cases against former Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal, his wife Lutful Tahmina Khan, his son Shafi Moddassir Khan, and his daughter Shafia Tasnim Khan on charges of abuse of power, recruitment trade, bribery, money laundering, and corruption.
A case has also been filed against Kamal's APS Monir Hossain.
Officials from the Anti-Corruption Commission filed the cases at the Integrated District Office in Dhaka on Wednesday.
In all five cases, Asaduzzaman Khan is accused. The charges against the former Home Minister include the acquisition of illegal assets worth hundreds of crores and money laundering.
