Metro rail operations on the Agargaon-Motijheel route have returned to normal two hours after a suspension on Monday afternoon.
Dhaka Mass Transit Company Ltd (DMTCL) announced the resumption via their verified Facebook page around 7:30pm.
The suspension, which started around 5pm, was due to a weak signal, according to DMTCL Managing Director MAN Siddique.
A weak signal led to the suspension of the metro rail services on this route, he added.
Earlier the same day, around 7:30am, metro services on the Uttara-Motijheel section were also suspended for an hour and a half due to power issues.
