The Awami League is set to reveal its roster of candidates for the upcoming 12th national elections at 4 p.m. on Sunday.
At the central offices of the Awami League on Bangabandhu Avenue, Obaidul Quader is set to unveil the names of the candidates from the ruling party.
Within four days of announcing the schedule for the January 7 elections, the Awami League has successfully distributed 3,362 nomination forms. The party's nomination board has completed the candidate selection process for the 300 parliamentary seats, according to a bdnews24.com report.
Ahead of the official announcement, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina held a discussion with all aspirants at her official residence, the Gonobhaban, on Sunday. Members of the ruling party's National Election Steering Committee also attended the meeting.

He stated, "We have not ruled out potential candidates. The nominees are capable and positioned for victory in the election.
