Another quota reform movement coordinator ‘picked up’

Arif Sohel, a student of Jahangirnagar University (JU) and one of the coordinators of the quota reform movement, has allegedly been picked up by individuals in plainclothes claiming to be members of the DB (Detective Branch) and CID (Criminal Investigation Department), his family said.

However, the police say they have no information about this.

At around 3:45 am on Sunday, according to the family, some eight to ten people identifying themselves as DB and CID members picked up Arif from his house in the Ambagan area, adjacent to JU. 

Arif is a student of the Department of International Relations of the 2017-18 academic session.
