The 'Anti-discrimination Student Movement' announced 'Prayers and Student Mass March' programme for Friday to protest mass killings, wholesale arrests and to push for their 9-point demand.
Abdul Quader, one of the coordinators of the movement, informed about this program in a statement on Thursday night.
The statement called on all to hold prayers for the martyrs in all places of worships – including mosques, temples and churches – and graves
Following the prayers, a mass march of students will take place, it added.
The Movement urged people from all walks of life, including workers, professionals, cultural workers, media workers, human rights workers, intellectuals, scholars to make the programme a success.
