Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has predicted light to moderate rain or thundershowers in eight divisions, including Dhaka, in 24 hours commencing 9:00 am on Monday.
“Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Rajshahi, Dhaka and Mymensingh divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over the country,” it said.
The country’s highest 95 mm rainfall was recorded in Sylhet in 24 hours till 6 am on Monday.
Day and night temperatures may fall slightly over the country, reads the bulletin.
The country’s highest temperature was recorded at 35.3 degree Celsius on Sunday in Sylhet.
Meanwhile, monsoon is fairly active over Bangladesh and moderate over North Bay, BMD forecast.
