Professor Mohammed Atiqur Rahman has stepped down from his position of pro-vice chancellor (academic) and acting treasurer of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU).
In a resignation letter submitted to the president on Sunday, he cited his personal and family reasons behind his resignation.
