Earlier on June 25, a severe storm caused a trawler to capsize, leaving five fishermen dead and two others still missing.

Fortunately, six fishermen were rescued and are currently receiving medical treatment at Charfesson Hospital.

In a sympathetic response, the Foundation said in the press release it provided Tk 10,000 to the families of each deceased fisherman and Tk 5,000 to the families of each of those currently undergoing treatment and those still missing.
