Commission to be formed for reforms in banking sector: Chief Adviser

A commission will be formed to oversee the long-term reforms in the banking sector, Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus has said.

A long-term initiative will also be taken up for the reformation of the share market, he said during an address to the nation on Sunday.

Yunus emphasised that there is no alternative to reforming the State, stating: “Our sole goal is to build a Bangladesh free of discrimination.”

He added: “We must succeed in reforming the State.”
