A 45-year-old man was killed in a lightning strike while grazing cows at Lakshmipasha union of Kanaighat upazila in Sylhet on Monday morning.
The deceased was identified as Mahtab Uddin, a resident of Bazar Darpanagar West (Karchati) village of the upazila, as per UNB reports.
Kanaighat Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Jahangir Hossain Sardar confirmed the death.
