Nur got Tk 400,000 from a quota movement leader: DB chief

Detective Branch of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Chief Harun-or-Rashid has said former Ducsu vice-president Nurul Haque Nur got Tk 400,000 from a coordinator of the quota reform movement during the protests.

During a press briefing at the DB office in Dhaka on Saturday, the DB chief informed the journalists that the former Ducsu VP and the coordinator of quota protests also admitted the matter.

"The law enforcers are investigating the coordinator," he added,

Harun-or-Rashid said they also found evidences of Nurul’s digital communication with the coordinators of the movement.

He said they had got important information from Nurul Haque Nur during remand.
