The Detective Branch (DB) of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP)) will travel to India to investigate the murder of Jhenaidah-4 Constituency MP Anwarul Azim Anar.
DB chief Harun-or-Rashid gave this information during a press conference at the DB office in the capital's Minto Road on Saturday.
He said the Indian police are currently investigating the murder.
“After a few days I, along with some DB officers, will go to India for investigation work,” he added, according to local media reports.
