Dr Rezwan Hossain Siddiqui, the acting editor of Daily Dinkal and a senior member of the Dhaka Union of Journalists, has passed away.
Rezwan breathed his last at a private hospital in the capital’s Shyamoli around 10 pm on Tuesday, where he had been undergoing treatment for kidney-related issues, reports UNB.
His daughter, Aditi Siddiqui, confirmed the news of his demise.
Rezwan’s funeral prayer is scheduled to take place at 12:00 noon on Wednesday at the National Press Club.
