DMP fines over Tk 10m for traffic rules violations in two days

The traffic division of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) filed 2,957 cases and imposed fines of around Tk 11.38 million after conducting drives against traffic rule violators in two days.
Muhammad Talebur Rahman, deputy commissioner (DC-media) of the DMP, said this in a media release on Saturday.
A total of 121 vehicles were dumped and 116 others were towed during the drives conducted in different parts of the capital on Friday and Thursday.
