Agitating doctors announced their return to full-fledged medical services at hospitals across the country on Wednesday after receiving assurances from the interim government that their demands would be met on a priority basis.
On behalf of the agitating doctors, Dr Abdul Ahad, a resident surgeon at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), announced the end of their protest at a news conference on Tuesday following a meeting with Health Secretary MA Akmal Hossain Azad.
Dr Ahad confirmed withdrawing all sorts of strikes and resumption of all medical services across the country, including at DMCH from Wednesday.
