An earthquake of magnitude 4.8 struck Bangladesh on Friday, according to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC).
The quake was located in the Bangladesh-India border region, 21 km east-southeast of Sylhet, EMSC said, reports bdnews24.com.
Tremors were reportedly felt in parts of Dhaka around 10:46 am on Friday.
The quake was at a depth of 20 km, EMSC added.
