Eight national days, including August 15 and March 7, to be cancelled

The interim government has decided to cancel eight significant national days, including August 15 and March 7 which commemorate the death anniversary and the historic speech of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
The information was given in a post on the verified Facebook page of the interim government’s Chief Adviser.
According to the post, the Cabinet Division will issue notifications in this regard soon.
The other six days are March 17, commemorating Bangabandhu’s birth anniversary; August 5, Sheikh Kamal’s birth anniversary; August 8, Begum Fazilatunnesa Mujib’s birth anniversary; October 18, Sheikh Russell Day; November 4, National Constitution Day; and December 12, Smart Bangladesh Day.
