Electric shuttle car service launched at DU

An electric shuttle bus service has been launched on Dhaka University campus, aiming to ensure safer and more convenient transportation of students.

Four electric shuttle cars will operate daily from 8am to 8pm under the initiative  supported by Green Future Foundation.

The fare for a ride has been set between Tk 10 and Tk 20 depending on the route.

Each shuttle car — with a seating capacity of 14 — will have a volunteer on board to assist passengers during the journey.

Initially, the shuttle cars will run on four designated routes on  the campus.
