A fire broke out on the top floor of a multi-storied building -- Sabbir Tower -- at Purana Paltan in Dhaka city on Saturday night.
"The fire was reported around 8:25pm. Seven firefighting units of the Fire Service and Civil Defence have been deployed to bring the blaze under control," a duty official at the Fire Service headquarters told The Financial Express.
"No casualties so far have been reported,” the official said, adding that the cause behind the fire remained unknown.
