A fire broke out at the Secretariat in Segunbagicha area of Dhaka early Thursday.
The fire reportedly started at 1:52 am in the building number 7 of the secretariat, as per private television channels.
Eighteen units of fire service are working to extinguish the fire.
During this efforts, a fire fighter was seriously injured after a speeding truck hit him in front of the secretariat.
