A fire broke out at a tannery warehouse in the Hazaribagh area of Dhaka on Friday afternoon.
The blaze started on the fifth floor in a leather warehouse at approximately 2:14 pm, said DAD of FSCD headquarters media cell Shahjahan Sikder.
Six firefighting units are currently trying to bring the fire under control, he said.
Four additional fire units are being dispatched to provide further assistance, he added.
The cause of the fire is yet to be determined, and no casualties have been reported so far, the fire official also said.
