Savanna Eco Resort and Natural Park in Gopalganj, owned by the former inspector general of police Benazir Ahmed and his family, has been closed following allegations of illegally acquiring assets.
A notice was posted at the gate of the resort on Monday afternoon stating that the Savanna Eco Resort will remain closed due to unavoidable circumstances.
The booking manager of the resort Md Sabbir said the authorities have decided to shut the park and resort temporarily due to server issues.
Once the server problem is resolved, the park is expected to reopen within the next four to five days, he said.
The closure comes amid the ongoing investigation into allegations of amassing illegal wealth by Benazir Ahmed and his family.
