Dhaka Metropolitan Police’s Detective Branch has apprehended former Madaripur MP, minister, and transport worker leader Shajahan Khan.
He was taken into custody from Dhaka’s Dhanmondi on Thursday night, said DB Joint Commissioner (North) Rabiul Hossain Bhuiyan.
Though Shajahan has been named in several murder cases, the DB did not state which case he was arrested over, according to a bdnews24.com report.
Shajahan, a member of the Awami League Presidium, is also the executive president of the Bangladesh Sramik Federation.
