The Advisory Council in its meeting on Thursday decided to form a Review Commission to review short term demands of the workers of all the sectors.
It will also have the representatives from the owners, Adviser Asif Mahmud told a briefing in the evening.
“This committee will not review the long term demands like wage or labour law reform as those will require much time. This committee will deal with the short term demands which can be met quickly” he added.
The Advisory Council also decided to transform Gonobhaban into ‘July Revolution Memorial’ museum, Mr Asif said adding that it will be open for public.
Responding to a question about whether AL will be banned or not, he said it will be decided by the people of the country.
The adviser said that Gonobhaban, the official residence of former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, will be made open to the public.
Unlike its name, it never served the purpose of the people, he said, adding that the government will scrutinise similar examples in other countries while transforming it into a museum.
He said that efforts are being made by some quarters to rehabilitate the fascist party involved in mass killing during the student-led revolution.
However, the government will not allow this party to be rehabilitated before the completion of the trial of the mass killings, he noted.
Chief Adviser's Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam, Deputy Press Secretary Abul Kalam Azad Majumdar, and Apurba Jahangir were also present.
