Government offices and autonomous institutions are set to return to the traditional 9am-5pm schedule on Wednesday, after the end of the public holiday for Eid-ul-Adha.
The decision was made at a cabinet meeting earlier this month.
According to the new schedule, offices will operate from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on weekdays, from Sunday to Thursday. However, there will be a break from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm for prayer and lunch. Fridays and Saturdays will remain weekly holidays.
On the other hand, the timings for the Supreme Court, banks, insurance, and other financial institutions will be determined separately by their respective authorities.
