The High Court (HC) has ordered a ban on the sale and import of foreign medicines without approval.
The court also ordered to stop the sale of imported raw materials for the production of medicine, according to local media reports.
The High Court bench comprising Justice Mustafa Zaman Islam and Justice Atabullah passed the order during the writ petition hearing on Monday.
Barrister Jyotirmoy Barua appeared in the court hearing on behalf of the writ petitioner.
