Home adviser warns media against indulging in flattery

Home Affairs Adviser Brigadier General (retd) M Sakhawat Hossain has warned the media outlet against indulging in flattery.

"I promise, the media will be shut down, if they indulge in flattery," the adviser said after visiting the injured police members at Central Police Hospital in Rajarbagh area of Dhaka on Sunday.

The adviser said the media should highlight the truth as a country cannot move forward if media cannot publish news with the real facts.

Pointing out the role of media behind the current situation of police force, the media did not publish real events at that time.
