Internet users in Bangladesh to face slow speed for two more weeks

Internet users across Bangladesh may experience temporary slowdowns or interruptions for two more weeks, according to Bangladesh Submarine Cables PLC (BSCPLC).
Customers have been getting slow internet for almost a month across the country as the submarine cable installed at Kuakata in Patuakhali was disconnected.
The BSCPLC is providing bandwidth through alternative ways to tackle the situation. However, they said it would take two more weeks to provide an uninterrupted internet connection.
On April 19, the country faced slow internet after a fibre optic cable was cut somewhere in Singapore's waters.
