Islamic Foundation takes programmes marking Mourning Day

Islamic Foundation has taken an elaborate programme marking the 48th martyrdom anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the National Mourning Day.

On the occasion, the national flag will be hoisted at half-mast at the offices of Islamic Foundation.

Apart from placing wreath at the portrait of Bangabandhu, recitation of the holy Qur'an and offering of special prayers will be held at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque and all 
mosques of the country, said a press release. 

A discussion on "Life and Works of Bangabandhu" will be held at the head office of Islamic Foundation in Agargaon and Baitul Mukarram office.

Free medical care and voluntary blood donation programme will be conducted by the Islamic Mission in 50 Islamic Mission centres, including the head office of the Islamic Foundation in Agargaon and Baitul Mukarram office.
