Job seekers rally at Shahbagh demanding raising age to 35

A rally of job seekers has started at Shahbagh, demanding a minimum age of 35 to apply for jobs in accordance with international standards.

The rally began in front of the National Museum in the capital at 11am on Saturday. Job seekers from all over the country are participating in the rally.

Nagorik Oikya Convener Mahmudur Rahman Manna spoke at the rally, says a local news agency.

The protesters at the rally chanted slogans like 'Age is not merit-merit-merit', 'No more time-lapse-now give the notification', 'Break the chain of 35, break the chain, destroy it'.
