An associate professor of Jahangirnagar University has tendered his resignation in protest against attacks on students by law enforcers and Chhatra League activists.
Jahidul Karim, a faculty member of the management studies department, submitted his resignation letter to the vice chancellor via email on Thursday.
In his letter, Karim blamed government apathy and the partisan stance of teachers for the escalating violence and chaos in the country.
