Met office forecasts light to moderate rain across country

Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at most places over Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and at many places over Rangpur division with moderately heavy to very heavy falls at places over the country, said a Met office bulletin.

Day and night temperatures may remain nearly unchanged over the country, it added, according to UNB. 

The country’s highest 96mm rainfall was recorded in Hatiya in 24 hours till 6:00am Saturday.
