Detective Police (DB) has arrested Amanullah Aman alias Shimul Bhuiyan's associate 'second in command' Saiful Alam from Jashore in the murder of Jhenaidah-4 MP Anwarul Azim Anar.
He was arrested from a fish hatchery in the Bablatala area of Chanchra, Jashore at around 10:30 pm on Tuesday. Saiful had been hiding there for several days disguised as a labourer, said the law enforcers.
Police found a mobile phone with an Indian number and explosives-making tools from him during the arrest.
