MP Anar murder: Body parts discovered in Sanjeeva Gardens’ septic tank

Body parts have been discovered in the septic tank of Sanjeeva Gardens in Kolkata, India, where Bangladesh lawmaker Anwarul Azim Anar was murdered.

The discovery was made on Tuesday afternoon after authorities received information suggesting remains might have been flashed through the commode of the flat where the incident took place.

However, the police are yet to confirm whether those are parts of MP Anar's body or not. Forensic analysis will be conducted to determine it, police said.

A four-member intelligence delegation headed by the DB chief Harun-or-Rashid is currently in Kolkata to investigate the murder of Jhenaidah-4 MP.
