Detective Branch (DB) police arrested Nasir Uddin Sathi, chairman of private television channel MyTV, from the capital’s Gulshan area on Sunday evening.
Nasir Uddin was an accused in a murder case filed at Jatrabari police station in connection with July Movement, said Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Talebur Rahman, UNB reports.
He will be produced before the court on Monday and police will seek remand for further interrogation, he said.
